Thanks to our privileged location between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, the most common species you can catch include: Blue, striped, and black marlin, dorado (mahi-mahi), tuna, wahoo, sailfish, jack, sea bream, grouper, and swordfish.
Fishing is possible practically all around San José del Cabo, but the main spots include San Luis Bank, Imán Bank, Gordo Banks, 25 Bank, Cabrillo Bank, 95 Bank, and 11.50 Bank."
Water-resistant sunscreen, a hat or cap, polarized sunglasses, a light long-sleeved shirt, shorts or comfortable pants, sandals or boat shoes. Fishing gloves: help with line handling and protect your hands. A light jacket or windbreaker in case it gets cool in the morning or on the way back.
